John + Chandler :: Apple orchard wedding in Alma from Saginaw photographers

John and Chandler celebrated their wedding day in Alma, MI. They had to change their plans several times, so they chose to get married outside at a family friends home and property. This property was amazing! It has an apple orchard and tons of locations for photos outside. We had a blast shooting and spending the day with their friends and family.

Chandler got ready at her childhood home. She even dressed in her childhood bedroom. Check out the dress photo below where we used her amazing bed for a dress shot. 

Their ceremony was perfect because of the location. The ceremony took place in the apple orchard which set the perfect fall backdrop to they vows. The apple orchard was complete with a hand-built arbor which they carved their initials into.

After we took the wedding party and the bride and groom out for portraits, it was time for the tented reception. All the details were perfect from the flowers, table settings, to the wedding cake, and the wedding hoop backdrop at the head table. 

In conclusion, the night was not complete without some more photos. We took nighttime portraits of the wedding party and the bride and groom. John is a huge Star Wars fan. So they made sure to have plenty of light sabers ready for the final photo of the wedding party.
